Meet our special teddies
In addition to our Buckets of Smiles; we also take teddies to give to the children suffering from cancer. Our aim is to bring children something positive and personal during their treatment in addition to the buckets. Staying in hospital can be a very distressing and scary time' and we hope our teddies will bring some comfort to them.
So far we have given lots of teddies to the children, which is brilliant as the clothes are all hand knitted by Natalie's Nan; Joan Burr. There are some little boy teddies and some little girls with pretty dresses. (see pic above) It takes Joan a long time to knit them and design what they will wear and we really appreciate her dedication. Joan like us; wants to do something positive for the children in memory of Natalie xxx
We have taken our teddies to the Rainbows Children's Hospice in Loughborough, QMC Nottingham ward E38, Leicester Royal Infirmary ward 27.. and teddies to Addendrookes C2. Recently we have sent our teddies to Bristol, Alder Hey, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Cardiff, Royal Marsden, and Southampton childrens oncology wards and many more....We also send special teddies by post direct to the children...See the
